The Monochrome

It's mid movie when I realize the spectrum leans to one side only and the lack of contrast hides so many ideas. The time stops, every sound bouncing off the walls towards me is now visible.

My head is not moving, I can feel each of my long curly hairs over my eyes. Suddenly I want to grab the color with my hands, only to discover I am blind. Every pigment that was reflecting off my face is now a lie, a big lie.

Your voice, I'm sure, is binaural and is now traveling to my finite universe, the one that once was full of color. I notice each wave of sounds, I can see it, it tells me to look at the image in front of me, a black hole. No more sound. My hands are sweating.

It is now the moment, that moment to let go of the fear, feel the seat fall away into space, imagine your life without the lens, unveil what my eyes cannot see: the monochrome.
